Embedded Vision ist das Stichwort, wenn es kompakter und gleichzeitig leistungsstarker Bildverarbeitungs-Systeme bedarf. Sie l\u00e4sst sich in kleine Ger\u00e4te oder an Stellen integrieren, in denen wenig Platz ist. Damit k\u00f6nnen nun viele neue Anwendungsfelder erschlossen werden, in denen intelligente Bildverarbeitungssysteme oder klassische IPCs bisher an ihre Grenzen kamen.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Der Vision Sensor PV3 der Firma IMAGO passt mit seinen Abmessungen von 53x45mm auch auf beengten Raum. Dabei beherbergt das Powerpaket neben einer Kamera mit 2 Mega Pixel Aufl\u00f6sung einen hoch leistungsf\u00e4higen Linux QuadCore Prozessor. Damit hat sich die Rechnerleistung im Vergleich zum Vorg\u00e4ngermodell mehr als verdoppelt. Das Embedded Vision System mit kleinem Formfaktor (Small Form Factor, SFF) erm\u00f6glicht eine sehr schnelle, zuverl\u00e4ssige und hochqualitative Inspektion in zahlreichen Industriebereichen, wie z.B. Kontrolle des Mindesthaltbarkeitsdatums, Barcode- und Dotcode-Lesung oder Etikettenkontrolle in der Lebensmittel- und Getr\u00e4nkeindustrie. Oder beispielsweise das permanente Scannen von Etiketten sowie die \u00dcberpr\u00fcfung des gedruckten Inhalts beim Etikettieren. Beim industriellen Drucken ist der Vision Sensor PV3 gar direkt in die Tintendruckkn\u00f6pfe integriert, um den Druck sofort \u00fcberpr\u00fcfen zu k\u00f6nnen. Auch au\u00dferhalb
\nder Fabrikumgebung wird das Bildverarbeitungs-System in Maschinen in zahlreichen anderen Applikationen eingesetzt.<\/p>\n

Die neuen Hochleistungs-Vision-Systeme werden nicht nur immer kleiner und kompakter. Sie sind auch ausgelegt auf raue Industrieumgebungen und vor mechanischen Beanspruchungen, Temperaturschwankungen und Feuchtigkeit gut gesch\u00fctzt.<\/p>\n

Die extrem kleine, unter Linux programmierbare Kamera bietet einen guten Einstieg in die Bildverarbeitung zum kleinen Preis. Einsteiger sch\u00e4tzen das inkludierte Beispielprogramm, SDK und einen Video-Schulungskurs. Mit Hilfe des hauseigenen neuen Framework ViewIT sind Ingenieure und Techniker in der Lage ihre eigene Applikation innerhalb eines Arbeitstages zu erstellen.
