IMAGO Technologies is setting the course for the future: with Christoph Siemon and Stephan Straka, an experienced dual leadership team is taking over the operational management of the company. Accompanied by a clear strategic direction and the support of long-standing Managing Director Carsten Strampe as Advisory Member, IMAGO is focusing on innovation, market orientation and sustainable growth.

The IMAGO Technologies introduces a dual leadership structure for operational management: Christoph Siemon and Stephan Straka will jointly assume responsibility for the day-to-day business of the embedded machine vision specialist. The transition has been carefully prepared by the previous Managing Director Carsten Strampe, who is moving into the next phase of his life. Strampe remarks: “We have meticulously planned this generational transition.”

EXPERIENCED LEADERS WITH COMPLEMENTARY STRENGTHS:

Christoph Siemon, who joined IMAGO in 2021 and became part of the management team last year, brings extensive sales and project management experience from the automotive industry. As an industrial engineer, he is responsible for sales, marketing, and development and continues to drive IMAGO’s customer-orientated innovative strength. Stephan Straka, an experienced finance expert who has held various leadership positions at IMAGO for over a decade and has also been part of the management team since last year, complements the leadership team with expertise in finance, HR, and procurement. Most recently, he was head of production, contributing significantly to the further development of production structures. Together, their combined expertise provides a strong foundation for optimizing operational processes and securing the future of IMAGO Technologies.

CLEAR STRUCTURES FOR SUSTAINABLE GROWTH:

Recognizing the importance of Carsten’s leadership and deep knowledge of the business, we are proud to announce that Carsten will continue to offer his valuable contribution by joining Imago Technologies’ Advisory Board (Beirat), together with Gianluca Mazzantini, as Managing Director, and Fabio Forestelli (Board Member and FMCG General Manager of Antares Vision Group). With this new structure, Gianluca will assign Stephan Straka and Christoph Siemon specific powers and proxies in their respective areas of responsibility, thus ensuring the continuity and effectiveness of day-to-day operations. This clear division between strategic and operational leadership strengthens the organization and creates space for external expertise and network expansion, ideal for taking IMAGO Technologies to the next stages of growth.

CARSTEN STRAMPE PASSES THE BATON:

After 30 years as Managing Director of IMAGO Technologies, Carsten Strampe, one of the founding fathers of the German machine vision industry, is handing over operational responsibility to Christoph Siemon and Stephan Straka. “The two of them enjoy my full confidence”, Strampe emphasizes. “With Christoph Siemon, an experienced and tech-savvy sales manager with extensive automotive expertise, and Stephan Straka, a long-standing IMAGO insider with management experience, we have a strong leadership duo to drive the company’s transformation.”
